About Timothy

Widely known as Ire Media, Timothy conceived and built the Mediva platform from the ground up. As an MLT student, he identified the gaps in laboratory science education firsthand and responded by building a technical solution. He leads the overall product vision, handles all web development and AI integration, and is responsible for the architecture and deployment of mediva.app. Beyond building Mediva, he also serves as Director of Media for NANS Zone D — a role that places Mediva directly in front of the students it was built to serve.

Why This Matters for Mediva

Mediva is built for Nigerian medical laboratory students — and Timothy's leadership role at NANS Zone D places the platform exactly where it needs to be: in the hands of the students it serves. Most edtech platforms in Africa fail not because the product is weak, but because they cannot reach their target users. Mediva does not have that problem. As Director of Media for the National Association of Nigerian Students Zone D, Timothy commands an authentic student-led distribution network spanning multiple tertiary institutions across the South-West. Every announcement, every campaign, every awareness drive becomes a direct line from Mediva to the lecture halls, hostels, and study groups where lab science students actually live and learn. This is not a feature we added after launch — it is built into the DNA of the platform. Mediva is, quite literally, of the students, by the students, and for the students.
